1. Source Reduction

2. Larviciding

Baiting
Baiting is an effective way of controlling rats and mice. In this, an attractive food for rats is mixed with poison. We use special anti-coagulant rodenticides mixed with a bait material that is very attractive to rodents. This method is more effective as rodents do not die immediately, but about four days after feeding. Therefore, the remaining rats do not know that it is a poison and do not become bait-shy and the entire population of rats starts eating the bait. Baits need to be checked and replaced periodically to ensure that sufficient bait is available for all the rats to eat and die.

Fumigation Service Process
Fumigation generally involves the following phases: First the area intended to be fumigated is usually covered to create a sealed environment; next the fumigant is released into the space to be fumigated; then, the space is held for a set period while the fumigant gas percolates through the space and acts on and kills any infestation in the product, next the space is ventilated so that the poisonous gases are allowed to escape from the space, and render it safe for humans to enter. If successful, the fumigated area is now safe and pest free.
Steriguard treatment uses a highly effective chemical disinfectant that contains a high degree of anti-microbial properties. MSDS can be sent to you for the disinfectants that shall be used. The treatment comprises surface and air space disinfection by surface spray and misting through ULV or thermal Sterilize equipment. The ULV / mist can reach at all inaccessible places within the treated areas and thus microbial contamination is treated.
Mode of Steriguard Treatment:
- Aerial disinfection is carried out by ULV (Ultra Low Volume particulates) misting of disinfectant.
- Make sure that the area is thoroughly cleaned before Steriguard treatment
- Completely close the area to be treated, without any exhaust vents/openings, etc.
- Cover LCD panels of computer / TV monitors
- Central AHU should be put off and air vents should be opened for treatment of air conditioning ducts.
- Fire Alarms should put off
- All exposed surfaces such as walls and floors are disinfected by a spray.
- ULV misting of air space is carried out as per the prescribed method which reaches the most inaccessible places.
- Close the treated area for a minimum of two to three hours
- Put on AHU and Allow for reuse
- Total treatment may take 6 to 7 hours time – depending upon the area/availability/airtightness.
- Continue carrying out mopping regularly with solution diluted with water as a regular process.
- Use Des E Plus / Soft Care Gel for hand disinfection regularly – take 2 to 5 ml on the palm and scrub vigorously with attention to nails etc.
- Equipment/ work stations, Allow for reuse after Treatment
- Steriguard treatment is a specialized service and is carried out by qualified RSMS technicians under the supervision of experienced managers
- All staff involved in the treatment continue to use preventive masks during the treatment.
- Efficacy: For your satisfaction, you may record microbial plate count before and after the treatment and assess the efficacy.
- Residues: After the aeration is complete, no residues of the disinfectants used remain suspended in the area treated.
- Frequency: The treatment is recommended on a regular basis/Fortnightly/Weekly basis and a suitable schedule can be made after our Personal inspection and consultation with your authorities to synchronize the working time and activities.
